Outdoor adventures and sustainable living in the Austrian Alps

Hi! I am Yorien and I live in Innsbruck, a cozy, Austrian city right in the heart of the Alps. I was born in the Netherlands, but moved away in 2025. I guess somewhere in between the incredible mountains, gorgeous weather, infinite hiking opportunities and cute dogs, my heart found its true home.

The Green Path is a personal blog about safe outdoor adventures, sustainable living, emigrating and finding home in the Austrian Alps. And if we get a little bit philosophical, it is also about choosing your own (green) path. I believe there are many right ones and they are usually wriggly and go in circles. Do you agree?
